Horticulture experience is not necessary, but a positive attitude and a willingness to work as a team is. We’re happy to teach you everything else! Successful candidates will be friendly, eager to learn, clean, organized, have a strong work ethic, and are not afraid to get their hands dirty.
In retail positions, daily tasks can range from assisting customers in product selection and care to stocking shelves to minor plant maintenance. In production positions, daily tasks can include potting, transplanting, weeding, pruning, and picking plant material for the retail store. Please consider that we regularly work in a physically demanding environment, rain or shine, indoors and out, and especially in hot greenhouse temperatures in the summer.
